Growing up on a homesteading farm, I learned that materials are valuable, and that “trash” doesn´t simply disappear into a waste management system. At 17, I started turning unused images into surreal collages. In my hands, an old book nobody looks at or an advertising magazine - they become artworks. With collage as a medium, I can make wild associations, like visual metaphors.

I focus a lot on Psychology (quirkiness of the human mental & emotional space) and Environmentalism (dis/connection to the natural world).

I press hard on where capitalism and psychology meet: internalized capitalism (fixation on productivity as a source of self-worth, hyper-commodification, expectation of linear growth, consumption as coping mechanism). On this darker side, I reflect visually on information overload, burnout & emotional exhaustion. On the lighter side, I celebrate how surreal, complex & colorful life can be, and how amusing & endearing it is to be human.

I enjoy a slow life; for me richness is the freedom to take time and to make healthy choices. I am passionate about fermentation and foraging. Good things take time and effort.
Efficiency is not always positive. I am naturally against using AI to create “art”.
